'Living for the Dead' Cast Joins Cheddar News

We're getting closer to Halloween. And if you want to get into the Spooky season, there's a new show that help set the mood. That's right. The show is called Living For The Dead. It follows five queer ghost hunters traveling around the country. I recently sat down with the group to hear all about their spooky adventures. Take a look. We are gonna start with a quick game. It's a rapid fire. I'm gonna ask you guys some questions and raise your ghost. If the answer is yes. Are you guys ready? We're not ready. I think I know the answer to this one. Do you believe in ghosts? Yes. Yes. Astounding. Astoundingly, you seem a little hesitant. I mean, I want, I've, I've got a lot of questions. Yeah, I got a lot of questions about ghosts, but yeah, sort of. Ok. I'll take it. Were you scared while filming? Yes. Yes. I mean, yes, for sure. Was it one of the scariest moments of your life? Yes. Yes. There was a lot of, um, yeah. The Clown Motel for me was horrific because clowns, I saw that in the trailer and that looked terrifying. Ok. Have you seen a ghost face to face. Yes. Quick story quick. Yeah. When I was growing up, I was laying in bed and there would be four spirits that would circle my bed and hover over me. And, uh, they were horrific. That sounds horrific. Are you skeptical of the supernatural? Yes. Ok. So all of you kind of stayed in line here, not you. I went there because I've seen too much. We're gonna now dive into your new show. Living for the dead first. Congratulations. How excited are you guys? We're excited to see it. Ok. And we're gonna start with you. Your group is called the Ghost Hunty. Tell us more about that. Well, we started out with a different name. Uh, the, which was, which is still my favorite, but Ghost hunters I think is great. Um, you know, in this, in this, uh, field, you get called a lot and at least it's positive, you know what I mean? And compared to all the things I think that we've all been called in the course of our lives. Ghost Hunters is like a sweet little, a sweet little nickname. Well, tell us about the show with the Ghost hunt. Um, me and my four fabulous friends travel the country. You know, we are helping living by healing the dead and I know that's a tag line, but it is the absolute truth. We create a space where we investigate pa people's paranormal experiences, whether that's at their homes or their businesses and we leave it in better shape than when we found it. Can't wait to see this, Roz. It's an all queer cast. What do you bring to the genre of ghost hunting collectively? Well, we each have something different that we do. Here's what I'll tell you. These three right here have magic powers that one over there wants. Whatever is the creepiest she'll crawl into, uh, coffin me. I'm the normal one. Ok. I'm the, I, I'm a lot more skeptical of, yes, we have mentioned. Um, but I also like to do the research. I like to get the facts. So Ken does Taro Juju is a witch. Um, Logan, let me bring out your name for a second Logan. Uh, my dear is a medium and then Alex is, uh, really into the tech side of the ghost hunting. Would you say you're the bravest? Yes. Yes, I agree. All right. Do, do Kristen Stewart love her, executive produced the show. What was that like? Oh my God, Kristen is so sweet. She's such a grounding energy too. Like she just really, I think helped us when she was there kind of coaching us through how we wanted to be portrayed, what was going on. But she was like the sweetest, like she's actually a friend now, which is so cool. But yeah, we love Kristen over here and Kristen and you guys travel the country Logan. Do you have a favorite location? Oh, my goodness. They, I, I'm not trying to sound cliche but all the locations are special and all brought their own Fear Factor. But for me, the Copper Queen, which was the hotel in Bisbee, Arizona was insanely creepy. And I think several of us would agree on that. I just saw all of you. There was like a deep sigh when you mentioned that location. My bad memory, like it was so scary and we were there just us and our crew for multiple days all night. It just never stopped. The never stopped scratching. Yeah, we know it's serious if they put hands on ju ju Yeah. Yeah. Any ghost that Yeah. Any ghost that brave is. I mean, they're beyond me on you. Oh no, I didn't feel it. I woke up and saw scratches from my neck all the way down to my chest and that didn't even make the cut. So that didn't make the cut. No. So that's really behind the scenes. Scary things that were happening that ghost had stiletto nails. So besides that spooky encounter because that sounds terrifying. Alex. Any other spooky encounters we can expect. Well, there's, there's so many, it's hard to list my favorites. I'd say the one with Ken being pretty much trapped in a room full of clown trinkets and dolls by himself. Blindfolded is one thing to look forward to and I get to crawl into a little space in the morgue. Where they kept the bodies and do a little investigation with a spirit that claimed to be malevolent. So there are some very creepy things to look forward to do. You guys have trouble sleeping at night after this whole encounter after shooting the show, I remember at the end of the show, by the end of filming the last location we stayed at and slept, I remember I had just gotten so used to going to bed hearing screams that weren't really there. I was just like by the end I had had my fill of haunted locations. Stay in the night for a minute. So it was, I don't know that doesn't leave you. You know, thank you so much for joining us. Now, I was interested in seeing the show Kristen but seeing them together and just the energy and the chemistry they had, they were so funny. Yeah. You did a great job with that interview. I, I gotta admit even though I love the month of October Spooky season. Spooks me out of it. That, that kind of freaks me out. I don't know if I could watch that. Well, especially, I mean, when there's a witch sitting on the couch saying, yeah, I woke up with scratches from a ghost and you don't even know how to respond to that. But, yeah, we'll watch the show. We'll talk about it. So, yeah.
